Dr. Christopher Brown is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor who has been serving Northwestern Ontario since 2018. Originally from Thunder Bay, he now calls Kenora home, where he lives with his wife, Amie, their twin daughters, Elliott and Olive, and their dog, CeCe.
With over seven years of clinical experience, Dr. Brown takes a comprehensive and individualized approach to patient care. He believes that effective healthcare begins with understanding the factors contributing to a person's symptoms rather than simply treating the symptoms themselves. His goal is to help patients better understand their health, identify underlying contributors to illness, and develop practical treatment plans that support long-term wellbeing.
His practice incorporates a variety of evidence-informed approaches, including naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, hormone therapy, phototherapy, nutritional medicine, botanical medicine, advanced laboratory testing, and lifestyle counseling. Dr. Brown works with patients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including skin conditions, hormonal health, digestive concerns, chronic pain, fatigue, metabolic health, and preventative wellness.
One of the aspects of naturopathic medicine he values most is patient education. He believes that when patients understand what is happening in their bodies, they are better equipped to make informed decisions about their health. Whether reviewing laboratory results, discussing treatment options, or building a personalized wellness plan, Dr. Brown strives to ensure patients feel informed, supported, and involved in their care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his family, exploring Northwestern Ontario, gardening, playing chess, and making the most of life with two energetic twin daughters. His experiences as a husband, father, and healthcare provider continue to shape his belief that health is about more than the absence of disease. It is about creating the foundation that allows people to live fully and enjoy the things that matter most.
