Naturopathic and Chinese medicine treatments have been of tremendous help with Dr. Koo's own battle with chronic eczema. Dr. Koo treats general family health concerns and has a special interest in helping to improve the quality of life for those living with chronic conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, Crohn's, colitis, IBS and a host of cardiovascular related conditions like diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol. Over the 15+ years of practice, Dr. Koo has had success treating many men with sexual health concerns, especially with acupuncture. He has had specialized training in the area of pain management and acupuncture and is one of a few NDs approved by Canada Post to provide care for chronic low back pain, rotator cuff tendonitis and anxiety. In addition to medical acupuncture, Ian is certified to perform cosmetic acupuncture. As part of an overall health regimen, Dr. Koo helps establish individualized, safe and effective weight loss programs.
Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Koo has incorporated time-tested healing wisdom with his modern scientific training.
